Motorola Xoom Review

Finally the tech websites have gotten their hands on the Motorola Xoom. Yes the much talked about and much hyped tablet of 2011 is set to dominate the world as we know it. So what’s the overall verdict? Let us summarize based on all of our reading of the Motorola Xoom review articles that we’ve come across.
Most Xoom review articles mention the high price. That’s a given and stating the obvious. The Motorola Xoom is not cheap and was never being marketed as a cheap tablet alternative. The fact is the Motorola Xoom is an iPad competitor in terms of spec AND pricing.
Since the Motorola Xoom is shipping with this new Android Honeycomb 3.0 there is some questioning this. The reason? It would appear there was a rush to release for the Motorola Xoom. In other words, Android 3.0 needs some tweaks. Will you even notice it as an end user and not as an expert in technology? I think the comments criticizing the lack of polish around Android Honeycomb are a bit misleading. Most of these Motorola Xoom review folks are tech savy and notice every little detail. Most of these details the average person (like me) would not even notice let alone take issue with. Regardless, as the Honeycomb OS moves forward you will get the updates so there is no great concern.
The battery life is incredible as the Tegra 2 dual core processor really shows off its merits. Overall in terms of what’ under the hood of the Motorola Xoom, all the Xoom review articles talk about the amazing power in comparison to whats out there.
We will add more Motorola Xoom review thoughts as we delve into more of the Xoom reviews that are starting to hit the web.
